The Sears Tower

Is a 108-story, 1,451-foot (442 m) skycraper in Chicago, Illinois. At the time of its completion in 1973, it was the tallest building in the world, surpassing the World Trade Center towers in New York, and it held this rank for nearly 25 years. The Willis Tower is the tallest building in the United States and the fifth-tallest freestanding structure in the world, as well as the fifth-tallest building in the world to the roof.

De blogs

Los blogs tienen poco de aburrido y mucho de apasionante. Hace un par de días, mientras pescaba con un amigo de aquí, de Minnesota, me comentó que acababa de descubrir a una chica gracias a un blog. O sea, al blog de ella. Y que al día siguiente quedarían por primera vez en una cafetería.

Hoy ya sé que les fue bastante bien y que seguirán conociéndose. Vaya usted a saber en qué acaba la historia.

Me importa un bledo que suene a película o a ñoñería: a mí siempre me han gustado los blogs. Y confieso que no tanto por el gozo de elaborarlos como por el placer de leer los de otros. Adoro sorprenderme. Mejor dicho, adoro comprobar que hay mucha gente lista por el mundo, personas inquietas, con mucho que decir y muchas maneras de hacerlo.

En mi laptop tengo una carpeta reservada para ellos. Más de 100 blogs engrosan una lista que considero valiosísima y que aporta lo mismo -o más- que una buena película o un buen libro.
